High resolution image sensors equipped with NIR+

ON SEMICONDUCTOR AR0522 CMOS image sensors delivers Near Infra-Red+ (NIR+) technology, which effectively combines High Dynamic Range (HDR) with enhanced low light performance to enable high-end security and surveillance cameras. Device is a 1/2.5-inch 5.1 Megapixel (MP) image sensor based on a 2.2μm Back Side Illuminated (BSI) pixel technology platform, developed for industrial applications that require high resolution, high quality video capture in low light conditions. Device delivers approximately twice the sensitivity in the near Infra-Red wavelength of the existing AR0521 image sensor.
