AMPHENOL Raptor range of high-power, high-voltage connectors are suitable for high-voltage and high-current systems in E-Flight, E-VTOL and hybrid applications. Devices benefit from partial discharge free performance at an operating voltage of 2.0KV AC(rms) at 35.000 ft, making them suitable for applications such as batteries, generators, motors and power distribution units. Based on firm’s Rhino series for ground power applications, products have been re-engineered for aerospace applications and using the new TALON contacts. Devices are available in shell sizes 15 to 25 and deliver high temperature capability of up to +200°C, IP68 sealing, increased creepage and clearance distances as well as an anti-decoupling ratchet mechanism on both coupling ring and backshell, ensuring a reliable connection even under high vibrations. Products provide EMC performance, Electroless Nickel plating and a high voltage insulation system.
