Flexible, glass-free EPDs are shatterproof

PLASTIC LOGIC Lectum flexible, glass-free electrophoretic displays (EPDs) are flexible, shatterproof and lightweight. Devices are available in volume production and in various sizes and with mono and colour options. Made completely of plastic, displays are more rugged than standard glass-based EPDs. Devices are also thinner and lighter per square inch than conventional EPDs and are inherently low-power. The high-resolution e-paper products are available in a wide range of sizes, from very small to the current maximum size of around A4. Evaluation kits are also available.
