Custom push-lock connector snaps on in high vibration applications

Aviel Electronics SMB connector is a follow-on design to the SMA and provides a smaller interface with a snap-on coupling for high vibration environments. A push-lock feature has been added to the standard MIL-STD-348 snap-on coupling SMB design, increasenig the disengagement force to a minimum of 5 pounds. A locking shell pushes over the mated interfaces, locking the interface while allowing full rotation of the mated pair. Pulling back the shell allows the interfaces to be disengaged.
