Compact, low profile power inductor delivers DC bias characteristics

TAIYO YUDEN BRL2515 (2.5 x 1.5mm, with a maximum height of 1.2mm) and BRFL2518 (2.5 x 1.8mm, with a maximum height of 1.0mm) wire-wound power inductors provide dc bias characteristics in a thinner, smaller size. Model BRL2515 provides a rated saturation current of 1000mA and inductance of 2.2µH, plus a dc resistance that ranges from 0.070 ? to 0.265 ?. Model BRFL2518 provides a DCR range of 0.09ohms to 0.33ohms, while both include a low ACR. Operating temperature is specified at a range of -25 to 105C.
