Compact, ac-ac frequency converters deliver 1kVA

ABSOPULSE ELECTRONICS FCP 1K-F7W Series of compact, ac-ac frequency converters, suitable for rugged industrial applications, require universal ac-input voltage and split-phase ac-output with pure sine-wave output voltage. Devices use field proven, microprocessor-controlled FCP1000 technology to generate 1000VA continuous output power with pure sine wave output voltage. High frequency conversion enables compact construction, low weight and high efficiency. Units provide a split-phase ac-output stage for various configurations. Units can be configured to provide 115Vac split phase/60Hz each, which emulates North American ac-outlet utility voltage. Other available output options include a single phase 115V/400Hz or 230Vac/50Hz. A high ac-output voltage version which generates 400-450Vac single phase is also available. Units operate from a power factor corrected (PFC) universal input range of 95V to 264Vac, 47- 63Hz; 400Hz frequency is available on request.
