BGA socket quickly connects on pcb with little performance loss

IRONWOOD ELECTRONICS SG-BGA-6475 high performance BGA socket for 1mm pitch, 240 pin BGA IC’s is designed for IC size – 17x18mm package size and operates at bandwidths up to 27GHz with less than 1dB of insertion loss. Contact resistance is typically 20 milliohms per pin. Device connects all pins with 27GHz bandwidth on all connections. Product is mounted on the target pcb with no soldering and uses tiny footprint. Constructed with heat sink lid for dissipation of 5 watts. The socket comes with ball guide for the precise alignment of BGA balls to pcb pads.
