BGA socket packages on pcb without major performance loss

IRONWOOD SG-BGA-6346 high performance BGA socket for 1mm pitch, 616 pin BGA IC’s is designed for 27X27mm package size and operates at bandwidths up to 8GHz with less than 1dB of insertion loss. Devices dissipate 4.5 watts with passive heat sinking (natural convection) and can handle up to 40 watts with active heat sinking (dc fan on top of heat sink). Contact resistance is typically 20 milliohms per pin. Products connects all pins with 8 GHz bandwidth on all connections. Socket is mounted on the target pcb with no soldering.
