Avalanche photodiode comes in M1 package

LASER COMPONENTS SAH series of avalanche photodiodes (APDs) is available in an M1 package, the smallest available SMD housing (Surface-Mounted Device), at 2mm x 1.4mm. Optimized for wavelengths of 850nm and 905nm, devices suit range finding applications whereby larger detectors cannot be installed due to lack of space. Depending on the version, the diameter of the detector area is 230µm or 500µm. Devices deliver low noise and a particularly short response time as well as operating temperatures between -40°C and +85°C.
