5W Converter in ultra-compact DIP package boosts efficiency

TRACO Power TDN 5WI series isolated 5 Watt dc-dc ultra compact DIP converters are housed in cubical non-conducting FR4 casing that is 1.23 cm3 without any compromise regarding reliability and functionality. The highly efficient TDN 5WI series is available in both single 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24VDC and dual ±5, ±12 and ±15VDC output voltages, Offering a 4:1 wide input voltage ranges of 4.5-12VDC, 9-36VDC and 19-75VDC. Standard features include remote On/Off, overload and short circuit protection, fully regulated outputs,1600VDC I/O isolation and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C without derating. An input filter makes the converters comply with conducted emission EN 55022 Class A or B and EN 61000-4-6 ESD immunity standard.
