Efficient white organic light-emitting diode

BASF and OSRAM Opto Semiconductors have announced a jointly developed efficient white organic light-emitting diode (OLED). The OLEDs contain phosphorescent metal complexes as emitter and complementary materials, making the diodes colour-stable despite variations in intensity. OLEDs also do not heat up while emitting light, making them more efficient.

Connector carries up to 2000 Vdc

ITT Interconnect Solutions has developed the Mixed Signal HV MDM series: a connector capable of carrying both high and low voltage signals. The HV MDM uses high-voltage contacts capable of carrying up to 2000VDC, with isolation towers, and has specialized silicone sealing to withstand a range of voltage outputs; ITT's twist pin contact system is used for low voltage signals.

Carling Technologies has introduced the W-Series, a fully sealed rocker switch that includes complete IP68 protection. Completely submersible, the W-Series can provide a seal for up to ten individual wires when used in conjunction with its integrated connector. It has multicolour and dual level LEDs, progressive and hazard warning circuits, ratings up to 10A 24V and several actuator options.
