VACUUM FLUORESCENT DISPLAY

The Noritake VFD is a self luminescence type of display device. Normally VFD does not need any backlight because VFD is very bright, minimum 350 cd/m2  without backlight. It comes in three colours: blue, green and red. Generally the background color of VFD is black, which is the colour of insulator material. This dark colour provided more contrast and protects reflection. This VFD is used transparent type of insulator for LED backlighting.
