June 14 - June 19, 2020

For the first time in its 40-year history, the 2020 Symposia on VLSI Technology & Circuits will be held as a virtual conference due to concerns over the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Despite the change in format, the Symposia program promises to deliver a unique perspective on the integration of advanced technology developments, innovative circuit design, and the applications they enable – such as machine learning, IoT, artificial intelligence, wearable/implantable biomedical applications, big data, cloud / edge computing, virtual reality (VR) / augmented reality (AR), robotics, and autonomous vehicles – the emerging technology ecosystem needed to realize the conference theme of “The Next 40 Years of VLSI for Ubiquitous Intelligence.”

The now-virtual Symposia will be held from June 14 – 19, 2020 with a comprehensive program of technical presentations, panel discussions, focus sessions, short courses, and the popular “Friday Forum” a focused discussion on “Technologies & Circuits for Edge Intelligence.” The Symposia is the microelectronics industry’s premiere international conference, integrating technology, circuits, and systems with a range and scope unlike any other conference, charting the roadmap for the connected devices and systems that will drive the next stage of human interaction.

This event brings together a technical program that encompasses ‘big integration’ of a number of critical industry trends – machine learning, IoT, artificial intelligence, wearable/implantable biomedical applications, big data, and cloud computing.

Details about the Symposia program schedule and registration will be available on the Symposia website by late April: https://vlsisymposium.org/registration/
