Film capacitors deliver ultra-compact DC link solution

TDK CORP. EPCOS B32320I2656J011 compact film capacitor for the DC link of inverters provides dimensions of 40mm x 58mm (d x l) and delivers a rated voltage of 350Vdc and a capacitance of 65μF. Device provides high capacitance density of 0.9μF/cm3 and delivers up to 50% more capacitance per volume than comparable capacitors. The space it requires on the pcb is correspondingly small. Device also provides low ESR of 10mΩ and the high ripple current capability of 3.7A.
