Cable connector with protective cap, IP67 even when unmated

BINDER 670/770 series of industrial circular cable connectors now includes protective caps to prevent the ingress of particles and humidity when the interface is disconnected. The protective caps are equipped with holding straps that can be easily attached to the cable connectors. If a connection has to be released during use, such as for inspection or maintenance, this reduces the environmental protection for the period of work. Connectors reliably protect the components against any ingress of dust and liquids when unmated. The requirements of protection degree IP67 are thereby met.
