(www.claigan.com) will present a webinar addressing the ruling of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) concerning the definition of an article for REACH SVHCs.  On 10 September 2015, the ECJ ruled that each of the articles incorporated as a component of a complex product is covered by the relevant duties to notify and provide information when they contain a substance of very high concern (SVHC) in a concentration above 0.1% of their mass.  Therefore, the presence of REACH SVHCs in a component of a complex article needs to be communicated to the customer if it exceeds 0.1% w/w of the component.
