Claigan Environmental Inc. (www.claigan.com) will present a webinar on restricted materials deadlines coming up for Q4 2018 all the way to mid 2021. With the rush to meet the compliance deadline for California Proposition 65, many companies have lost sight of the other important looming deadlines. This webinar will go over the key restricted materials compliance deadlines (new Prop 65 substances, RoHS 3 – phthalates, REACH Restriction (PFOA), EU MDR, amongst others) and also substance families whose expected restriction will impact product design and manufacture.
Roughly every six months from October 2018 though July 2021, there are new restricted materials compliance requirements coming into place. From the enforcement in Prop 65 of 2-MBT and PFOA in October 2018 through RoHS 3 (2015/863) to the new ECHA substance of concern database by the end of 2020, materials restrictions are accelerating at a pace not seen before. Each major deadline will be discussed in brief practical terms.
