From the Off-Line era to the present On-Line era and future On-Life era. This presentation will introduce a wide range of sensor technologies and provide an overview of the key applications that can be developed, including a wide range of MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) and sensors covering a full spectrum of applications from low-power devices for IoT and battery-operated applications to high-end devices for accurate navigation and positioning, Industry 4.0, augmented virtual reality components and smartphones. For Industry 4.0, a complete range of products suitable to be applied in early failure detection and predictive maintenance systems where vibration, temperature, pressure, sound and acoustics analysis are needed.

About the Speaker:

Steven Bakker is responsible for MEMS & Sensors Product Marketing, a Product Marketing Engineer at STMicroelectronics based in Toronto with broad experience in IoT platforms for the industrial, consumer and automotive industries. Steve has more than 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, having undertaken various design, application engineering, sales management, and product marketing roles.
