Mastering EVM: Optimizing Your Spectrum Analyzer

Hosted/Sponsored by Rohde & Schwarz – completely free!

The traditional “bathtub curve” shows how EVM degrades as power is reduced. The absolute lowest point of the bathtub curve gives a banner specification, but the EVM performance needs to be good enough over the entire power range. With lower power, the noise floor of the spectrum analyzer starts to dominate the measurement. Low noise performance is what separates vector signal analyzers. A good analyzer will have better lower power EVM.

Part two of our “Mastering EVM” webinar series explores how to optimize your spectrum analyzer to meet your EVM requirements.

In case you missed part one, “Mastering EVM: Optimizing Your Test Setup”, it’s not too late! Watch it on-demand at any time, and register for future webinars in this series by following the link below.
