September 24, 2020

ISEQ offers two conferences on robotics and automation in our industry, Thursday , September 24 from 5 p.m. after its AGM.

5:05 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Conference 1 – Catherine Bernier from Revtech Systèmes – How collaborative robotics opens up a world of possibilities in the electronics industry?

Robotics has evolved a lot over the past 10 years and tools such as collaborative robotics make production automation more accessible to SMEs. In the field of electronics, we see more and more of these robots coming to give a helping hand to the production whether it is for purposes of quality tests, preparation or even assembly.

On the other hand, where should an electronics company start its automation efforts? Which task should be robotized first? This is what this presentation will try to answer by presenting concrete examples in business.

5:35 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Lecture 2 – William Laroche of TackV – Incremental automation of manufacturing data collection

New “Big Data” software tools make centralized access to data for analysis more accessible than ever, at very low operating costs. The automatic collection of data from different production stages of the manufacturing chain is an initial development effort that will increase the efficiency of the entire team for several years to come. Using a real-world example of an electronic system verification test bench, TackV shows how the automatic collection of test results can detect changes in device performance from production batch to batch. ‘other.
