EPTECH Show coming to Quebec City this week

Quebec’s Electronic Systems Industry association, ISEQ, will host a networking event following the trade show

If you are an electronic engineer or designer looking for the latest components, test, CEM services or production materials on the market, you will want to pencil in a visit to the EPTECH Show taking place in Quebec City this week. The table-top trade show event will be held on September 26th at the Hotel Plaza Quebec and runs from 10am through 4pm. 

Industry members are welcome to attend the free show to meet and converse in person with many, diverse table-top exhibitors, covering a very broad spectrum within the electronics industry. The exhibit displays include such products as semiconductors and ICs; passive and electromechanical components; test equipment and electronic instrumentation; connectors; design, test and technical software; technical computer systems and products; design, testing and contract manufacturing services; electronic chemicals and materials production equipment; and industrial electronics products.

Good mix of seminars awaits

A number of informative and educational seminars will be held throughout the day, presented by a varied selection of Eptech Show exhibitors. At 10am, Nemko Canada Inc. will address the subject of obtaining RF modular approval for your electronic device – issuing what you need to know for your end design. Nemko are specialists in pre-compliance, international approvals, product and system certifications.

At 11:30am environmental consulting and product compliance services provider Enviropass Expertise Inc. will lend its insights to product environmental compliance, which is constantly evolving globally.

At 1pm Testforce Systems Inc. will demonstrate how Tektronix makes it easy to use advanced oscilloscope features, and how T&M device users can get the most out of three common, but challenging metrics.

At 2:30pm NTS Canada will deliver the preparation stages for EMC qualification, guiding attendees through the certification process. The EMC qualification of electronic equipment is a mandatory step before products go to market.

Networking event hosted by ISEQ will follow trade show at 5pm

Following the trade show at 5pm, exhibitors and attendees alike are welcomed to join Quebec’s electronic systems industry association, ISEQ, which is hosting a networking event at 5pm in the Ginger Bar at the hotel.

The association will hold its annual general meeting immediately after the Eptech Show prior to welcoming guests to its Economic Conference and Networking Event. ISEQ is the hub where you will find all public and private representation. ISEQ member organizations come from all the components of the innovation chain of the electronic systems industry in Quebec, from design to logistics

Keeping in-line with some of the industry’s emerging design sectors, EPTECH exhibits will also be displaying the latest in technology trends, such as wearable electronics, robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), printable electronics, 3D printing. With plenty of free parking available in the Casino parking lot, the show runs from 10a.m. to 4p.m.
