Ottawa-based firm appoints Dory Meynert to the position of vice-president of customer engagement and product solutions

Lytica Inc. Ottawa, announced that Dory Meynert has joined the firm as vice-president of customer engagement and product solutions, effective immediately.

In this capacity, he will be responsible for streamlining the many ways that new customers can leverage Lytica’s electronic component information, while guiding the firm’s product roadmap for maximum client utility and optimum user workflow integration.

Meynert has extensive experience across all areas of the electronic component ecosystem. With an education in electrical engineering and technology management, he has held such roles as manufacturing manager, outsourcing manager and strategic sourcing manager at various OEMs. He has also held a variety of senior positions within the electronic manufacturing services (EMS) and distribution sectors.

“It has been said that companies don’t compete, but supply chains do. Increasingly we’re seeing where an industry issue is propagating up and down the supply chain, creating waste and non-value activity within each of the industry participants,” says Lytica founder & CTO Ken Bradley. “A good example would be unintentionally corrupt part numbers. Dory understands the huge cost, measured in time and energy, that these problems cause and, in turn, result in uncompetitive supply chains. His willingness to join our small team validates our vision. We’re excited about the customer collaboration he’ll be able to drive.”
