Conference headliners included Maria Cannon, TE Connectivity; Lanan Clark, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management; Rob Danna, ITA Group; Rafael Fontes, Preci-dip; Cecilia Gorman, John Maxwell Team and Creative+Talent+Partners; Anastasia Hansel, Global Women in Leadership Network; John Hutson, MacInnis; Scharrell Talley Jackson, Squar Milner LLP and Leadership in Heels; Thomas Kean, CTS; and Michael Knight, TTI Inc.

Network of leaders and influencers

WE President and Founder Jackie Mattox commented, “The opportunity to provide the women in our industry with a network of leaders and influencers to expand leadership talent in our industry has long been a passion of mine.  We appreciate the support of our first corporate sponsors Amphenol, Cornell Dubilier and Kemet Electronic Components, who are committed to developing and investing in a talent group that is critical to our future.”

Over the coming months, WE will expand their chapter network to 11 regions across the US (currently active in Northern and Southern California, Boston and Chicago), launch a Mentor Program early in 2019, and provide a range of training and development opportunities – all designed to deepen industry knowledge and cultivate personal and professional growth.

Fueled by authenticity, courage and commitment, Women in Electronics (WE) is a community of progressive women leaders at all stages of their careers dedicated to the professional and personal leadership development of women in the fast-paced electronics Industry. WE was formed in the fall of 2017 by a group of 20 inaugural women coming from all across the country to meet for the first conference in Laguna Beach, CA. The group was built with the premise of women working collaboratively to find inspiration, strength, and empowerment through a sense of community.
