Women in electronics group wraps annual conference

“Better Than Our Best” was the theme at the 2nd Annual Women in Electronics (WE) Leadership Conference where industry leaders and motivators drove messages on the strength of diversity, empowerment and the importance of professional and personal development.  Presenters covered subjects ranging from ‘Leading with Honor, Courage and Commitment’ to ‘Navigating Your Way to Building the Best You’ to a men’s panel with a discussion entitled ‘Mars and Venus: Bridging the Gap in the Business World.’

Over the coming months, WE will expand their chapter network to 11 regions across the US (currently active in Northern and Southern California, Boston and Chicago), launch a Mentor Program early in 2019, and provide a range of training and development opportunities – all designed to deepen industry knowledge and cultivate personal and professional growth.

Fueled by authenticity, courage and commitment, Women in Electronics (WE) is a community of progressive women leaders at all stages of their careers dedicated to the professional and personal leadership development of women in the fast-paced electronics Industry. WE was formed in the fall of 2017 by a group of 20 inaugural women coming from all across the country to meet for the first conference in Laguna Beach, CA. The group was built with the premise of women working collaboratively to find inspiration, strength, and empowerment through a sense of community.
