Deal includes delivery of Advanced Spectrum Analysis and Monitoring solutions in Canada

Gap Wireless, Mississauga-based distributor of products and services for the mobile broadband and wireless markets, has entered a distribution agreement with Ottawa-based ThinkRF Corp., a leader in software-defined spectrum analysis solutions. ThinkRF’s advanced spectrum analysis platforms will be offered by Gap Wireless in Canada and the U.S.

“We’re pleased to add ThinkRF’s products to our inventory to meet the need for monitoring, detecting and analyzing signals for today’s wireless networks and evolving 5G networks,” says Derek Gordon, product line manager, test & measurement solutions at Gap Wireless.

ThinkRF solutions are built on innovative, highly optimizable, software-defined spectrum analysis technologies. This gives users greater versatility, better performance, and additional capabilities to see the full picture across modern, complex waveforms. Aerospace and defense companies, spectrum regulators and wireless communication and security providers benefit from the cost, size and flexibility of the platform.

“Partnering with Gap Wireless allows ThinkRF to reach a broader market with our software-defined spectrum analyzers that address some fundamental limitations RF engineers and developers face today with traditional benchtop or rack mount analyzers,” adds Tim Hember, COO at ThinkRF.
