Montreal-based Averna Technologies Inc., a leading global test & quality solutions provider, has appointed Mika Mämmelä to the new position of vice-president of global accounts with a focus on consumer devices. The appointment is strategic to the company’s plan to take a leadership role in the Industry 4.0 market evolution.
Mämmelä brings more than 20-years of business development and client service to his new post. Before joining Averna, Mika worked at JOT Automation for 15 years, a leading supplier of automated test and production solutions, where he served as vice-president of R&D, chief technology officer, and vice-president of sales, working with many leading international companies. Mika also has extensive experience in the Chinese manufacturing industry.
At Averna, he will be responsible for continuing to grow the business with Tier 1 consumer device manufacturers globally. He will also assist with Averna’s strategy and operations in China, and help evolve more of Averna’s renowned automated test systems and expertise into modular platforms and products to serve Industry 4.0 needs.
