Promark granted Canadian Controlled Goods approval

Montreal-based Promark Electronics, leading manufacturer of custom wire harnesses, cable assemblies, electromechanical assemblies and full box builds for OEM’s, has received acceptance in to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).

An initiative of the Government of Canada, states the “(CGP) regulates access to controlled goods, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) items, in Canada, (…) under the authorities of the Defence Production Act (DPA) and the Controlled Goods Regulations (it) strengthens Canada’s defence trade controls through the mandatory registration and regulation of businesses and individuals who examine, possess and/or transfer controlled goods”.

Servicing customers in the military/ defence sector

This program accentuates Promark Electronics’ ability to continue servicing customers in the military/ defence sector as well, to take on new customer ventures in which this program is required.
