As part of the new agreement, Ingram Micro Canada will distribute Invixium’s full line of modern biometric access control solutions to channel partners throughout Canada. The new alliance is expected to broaden Invixium’s Canadian reach and make it easier for channel partners to market, sell and deploy these solutions to business-to-business (B2B) channels, such as government, education, enterprise and small-to-medium business (SMB). Plans to expand the exclusive distribution agreement globally are underway.
Manufactured in Canada, the Invixium IXM product line incorporates industry-leading biometric fingerprint sensing technologies, allowing for multi-factor authentication with PINs and access cards all within a slim and stylish enclosure. The products support storage for up to 100,000 users and 500,000 log records with multiple connectivity options such as TCP/IP, PoE, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth and include a playful and intuitive web-based software which allows for quick configuration and monitoring of the network.
“Our new relationship with Invixium broadens our physical security portfolio and provides channel partners with a proven and flexible solution that offers their end-users an easy to use and highly secure and advanced access control system,” says Suzanne Macdonald, director of sales, Ingram Micro Canada. “Physical security represents a fast-growing, converging market opportunity for channel partners, and is a key area of focus and specialization for Ingram Micro.”
“Biometrics is becoming main-stream rapidly,” adds Shiraz Kapadia, CEO, Invixium. “The market is primed to upgrade from traditional access control methods to biometric IP based security products and that presents a sizable opportunity to channel partners in Canada and worldwide. Our new alliance with Ingram Micro is further proof that physical security and IT are naturally converging and we are thrilled to have a distribution partner of Ingram Micro’s stature to help our channel partners seize the opportunity.”
