Sager signs GE’s Critical Power biz

Sager Electronics, North American distributor of IP&E electronic components, has reached a distribution agreement with GE’s Critical Power business, a leading manufacturer of end-to-end power solutions for the building, box and board.

“Sager’s strength is in the industrial and medical markets, and we have a strong field application engineering program. Our commitment to GE is to introduce their power offering into our market leading customers using our team and their technical expertise,” says Bruce Kellar, vice-president of sales for Sager.

“Our customers are seeking higher reliability in their power conversion solutions. With the addition of the respected GE brand and its proven strength in point-of-load dc-dc converters, we are better able to deliver that required reliability both in terms of product quality and capability,” adds Paul Kopp, Sager Electronics’ director of supplier marketing for power.
