Sager Electronics, North American distributor of IP&E electronic components, has reached a new distribution agreement with Artesyn Embedded Technologies, a global provider of power conversion solutions. Artesyn, formerly the Embedded Computing & Power business of Emerson Network Power, was acquired by Platinum Equity in 2013.
“Sager has made a commitment to servicing customers in the power supply market with leading edge technologies and field application engineering. Their desire to grow through new, original designs in their mid-tier customer base is what we are seeking from our distribution channel,” says Gene Anderson, director, Global Distribution for Artesyn Embedded Technologies.
“As the market leader in ac-dc and dc-dc power supplies and converters in North America, the Artesyn brand speaks for itself. Artesyn’s offering provides customers flexibility and speed in their design. We are excited to offer our customers the Artesyn’s market leading high power, configurable, modular products,” adds Paul Kopp, Sager Electronics’ director of supplier marketing for power.
