COM DEV wins contract on government satellite program

COM DEV International Ltd. announced that it has been awarded a contract valued in excess of US$4 million to provide satellite equipment for an established American customer.

COM DEV will provide switch and multiplexer equipment operating in multiple commercial and military satcom frequency bands.  Work on the contract will be carried out at the Company’s facilities in Cambridge, ON, with delivery expected to be complete by August, 2013.

“Our Cambridge production facility continues to be very busy due to recent momentum in orders in both the commercial and government space sectors,” said Mike Williams, President of COM DEV International Products. “This contract highlights COM DEV’s unique range of capability to supply equipment for all standard frequency bands with high quality and low cost, based upon our experience on over 850 communications satellites in the commercial and government sectors.”
