Rohde & Schwarz enters new partnership to address the North American EMC market

Rohde & Schwarz will take over the sales of anechoic chambers and shielded rooms from the Albatross Projects Group in the U.S. and Canada, effective immediately.


Production, sales and service of complete EMC systems are now available from a single source. This agreement is the logical continuation of a successful, long-term partnership.   

Rohde &  Schwarz and Albatross Projects Group, a German supplier of EMC test setups, have globally collaborated for more than 20 years on turnkey solutions and EMC test systems for CISPR, IEC, automotive and military standards. Dietmar Vahldiek, Head of the Systems and Projects Subdivision at Rohde & Schwarz, says: “Rohde & Schwarz is the only company on the market to continuously offer standard-compliant EMC T&M solutions for more than 40 years. The anechoic chambers and shielded rooms from Albatross Projects and the company’s decades of experience combined with our products and expertise allow us to offer all-in-one solutions that meet our EMC customers’ requirements in all respects.”   

Rohde & Schwarz serves its North American customers in the field of systems und EMI products from Flower Mound, Texas. Rohde & Schwarz partner Albatross Projects Group has now set up a new subsidiary at this location: AP Americas. Local employees will be responsible for all activities related to the turnkey delivery of EMC test setups and on-site service.
