Oriental Motor has introduced the MDA series, a high-flow axial cooling fan equipped with a low-speed alarm output.

The series can improve the longevity of equipment and reduce overall maintenance cost by providing reliable forced cooling. The series’ ability to generate large air flow makes it suitable for applications requiring ventilation cooling.

Units are equipped with a low-speed alarm function that activates when the fan speed drops to approximately 70% of the rated level. By integrating a low-speed alarm circuit into the series’ construction, cooling problems are detected early to allow for maintenance.

The series is available in 5 different frame sizes, 140 mm (5.51 in.), 119 mm (4.69 in.), 92 mm (3.62 in.), 80 mm (3.15 in.) and 62 mm (2.44 in.) frame sizes and in 12 or 24 Vdc input with terminating lead wires or connector. The 140 mm (5.51 in.) frame size is available in 24 or 48 Vdc. The series ships in 4 business days.

Key features include:
Finger guard, mounting screws and cable with connector*
      High-performance, low speed alarm-type
Frame sizes from 2.44 in. to 5.51 in.
Maximum airflow from 17.7 to 205 CFM
Meets UL, CSA, EN/IEC standards and CE Markings (EMC)
*Connector available in connector-type models only.
