The ‘white space’ development aims to “implement FCC-compliant protocols and devices for unlicensed use in the recently liberated upper-TV-channel bands (512-698 MHz, channels 21-51),” said Lyrtech.

“We are pleased to see our SFF SDR development platform showcased this way in the ‘white space’ development arena. Our platform is ideal in terms of flexibility for this type of SDR-oriented and ground-breaking research,” said Louis Bélanger, president and chief executive officer of Lyrtech.
