needs of customers for each of Panasonic Industrial Company’s business
divisions. Customers quickly gain access to information and search
capabilities created to facilitate and speed the product specification
process.
"Our new site is end user focused and tailored to the
wide range of unique product requirements customers rely on Panasonic
to deliver,” said Michelle Shakespeare-Martin, Panasonic Battery
Marketing Manager. “The new site provides each visitor with fast access
to the information and robust content they need to make a product and
purchasing decision and then completes the process by connecting users
with sales representatives and distributors best suited to provide
product quickly and efficiently."
Each business division’s
section of the site is tailored to the specific needs of their users.
For example, Panasonic Electronic Components offers thousands of
passive, electromechanical and RF components that can make product
searches time consuming. The new Electronic Components area of the
Panasonic Industrial site now features a Parametric Search tool for
quick, easy and accurate specification search.
"A Parametric
Search tool is necessary for design engineers that rely on our site to
do spec-in and design work,” said Sandy Jaouen, Panasonic Electronic
Components Strategic Marketing Manager. “Our new site allows customers
to quickly sift though thousands of Panasonic Electronic Component
parts to find the right part number for their application. This speed
and efficiency is something our previous site did not offer.”
