Future Technology Devices Int’l Ltd. (FTDI) announces the signing of a distribution agreement with Future Electronics. FTDI’s products will now be promoted, stocked and supported by Future Electronics operations across North and South America. The product line-up includes the full range of FTDI’s legacy serial to Universal Serial Bus (USB) ICs together with its Vinculum embedded USB host microcontroller. A range of Vinculum-based modules, evaluation kits and reference designs speed the development of embedded USB host interface applications. Fred Dart, chief executive officer, FTDI said, "We are excited that Future Electronics is partnering with us. As leaders in their field, their distribution expertise across the Americas will be a much valued contribution, and is complementary to our product offerings."
