Rittal is presenting its MicroTCA Cube as the company’s first direct solution for an industrial environment-based MicroTCA.0R1.0 specification. With compact enclosure dimensions of 307 x 118 x 285/319 mm, the space-saving installation needed by machine controllers and in automation technology is possible. The enclosure is made from stainless steel and is sufficiently stable for use in industrial environments. It can be assembled in a variety of ways: mounted on a support rail; attached directly on the enclosure’s mounting plate; or on the machine itself. This can be done with the aid of the adaptor plates available as accessories, with their integrated drilled keyholes or brackets for mounting directly on support rails. Both can be affixed to the enclosure’s rear or side panel. Seven slots (six AMC, one MCH) are available. Reliable heat dissipation is ensured by a plug-type fan module with two axial fans and a filter. The enclosure is fully assembled, fitted with a backplane, wired and tested. It is supplied with an integrated AC/DC power pack that has a 250 W output.
