Catalytic Changes Name to Agility

Catalytic Inc. announced the company has become Agility Design Solutions Inc. The name change is said to reflect the expansion in company size, product offering, geographic reach and company vision resulting from the recent merger of Celoxica’s ESL (electronic system level) business with Catalytic. Agility speeds the development of signal processing algorithms offering solutions for algorithm acceleration, prototyping and implementation in both software and hardware. The solutions include Agility’s software technologies for MATLAB to C and C to FPGA synthesis and a portfolio of synthesizable algorithmic functions and FPGA hardware platforms.
