Electronics CELThe ADS1204 is said to be the industry’s first quad delta-sigma modulator featuring 100dB dynamic range, 16-bit resolution and a single +5V supply.
The four differential inputs enable direct connection to transducers or low-level signals for measuring and digitizing current in industrial environments, such as motor control and industrial process control. With the appropriate digital filter and modulator rate, the ADS1204 can be used to achieve 16-bit analog-to-digital conversion with no missing codes.
