Rapid prototyping process is fast and cost effective to provide prototypes to simulate invest-
ment casting, die casting, and some forging processes without the use of hard tooling.
Prototypes enable the design engineers to validate the design before committing hard tooling expenses. The process utilizes suitable 3D CAD files to produce castings in 1 to 3 weeks. Resolve design issues before investing in hard-tooling or final system designs. Minimize scheduling delays by validating working prototypes early in product development process.
