The 87V is equipped with a built-in thermometer and features larger display digits and a bright white backlight for easier reading in low-light environments. A magnetic hanger enables technicians to temporarily snap the tool onto steel panels where it is easily accessible, freeing their hands for other tasks. Rated for use in 600V CAT (category) IV and 1000V CAT III environments, the 87V is engineered to withstand voltage spikes of 8 kilovolts and help protect users against the hazards of arc flash.
