High efficiency, high current half brick with 48V input and 1.8V at 80 amps. Their isolated, fixed frequency design uses syn- chronous rectification, an in-tegrated planar transformer, and a low loss multi-layer PCB to provide 80A of 1.8VDC power.
Their very high efficiency of over 88% allows them to be operated in a typical application without a heat sink. The HC series includes an integral thermal interface to attach a high performance cooling system for more demanding environments. The SYVHC48-1.8-80-1 comes in the enhanced half brick package of 2.42 x 2.4 x 0.5 inches.
