PHOENIX CONTACT PIT range of terminal blocks can directly connect solid or stranded wires with cross sections as small as 0.34 mm² (22 AWG) with ferrules without the need for any special tools. Contact springs open automatically as soon as wire is inserted. High contact forces exceed those stipulated by the relevant standards and ensure that the contacts between conductors are both reliable and of the highest quality. Wires can be removed using the actuator element, identified by its orange color. Simply press down the actuator to release the pressure on the contact springs and remove the wire.
