Multi-finger contact system increases mating cycles

SAMTEC Tiger IDC contact system is rugged, multi-finger and suitable for applications requiring high reliability and/or high mating cycles, with optimized normal, insertion and withdrawal forces. Three ‘off the shelf’ twisted pair and flat cable systems are available along with custom IDC design capabilities. Two 30 AWG Flat Cable assemblies come with a choice of pitches with reverse wiring, breakout and daisy chain options. The 1,27mm pitch FFSD Series and low profile 2mm pitch TCSD Series systems mate with an assortment of firm’s standard terminal strips.
