Hybrid crystal resonator outperforms quartz crystal

MURATA ELECTRONICS XRCGB-M series consumer hybrid crystal family improves accuracy of less than ±100ppm. Device incorporates a quartz crystal element manufactured by Tokyo Denpa and includes Murata’s proprietary package and production technology. These features enable a device smaller and lower in cost than a quartz crystal, while maintaining the precision of quartz. Further, these benefits enable improved shock resistance and drive level handling over other crystals making them ideal for wired Ethernet, HDMI, SATA, USB 3.0 and PCI-e applications.
