High density FPGA boosts performance, lowers power

ALTERA Stratix IV EP4SE820 FPGA increased its high-end density range from 230K to 820K logic elements (LEs). Device delivers 53% higher density than firms EP4SE530 device and is at least one speed grade faster than the closest competitor’s largest offering. Products density, performance and power-saving features enables simplified design partitioning, acceleration of verification cycle and reduction in total system power.
