EMA DESIGN AUTOMATION Component Information Portal (CIP) 5.0 provides a tight integration with Cadence OrCAD Capture CIS and EMA EDABuilder for a complete part search and new part introduction flow including automated symbol creation. Product fulfills the automated new part introduction vision, providing design teams with a complete methodology to identify, manage, and define part data. Product is web-based pcb library management solution with integration to component part supplier data from Digikey, Mouser, Farnell, Future, and Arrow that allows access within the CAD environment as well as from a web browser. Product provides users the option to define bill of materials (BOM) templates that can then be applied during BOM report generation.
