Phoenix Contact Ltd., Milton ON, strengthened its sales channels in Ontario with a couple of recent appointment announcements.
The first includes the promotion Patrick Butler to the position of regional channel manager. The newly created position will develop sales, market share and overall business, respectively through Ontario channel partners of Phoenix Contact. Butler brings with him extensive experience in developing and growing partner networks and sales and has held senior positions with the firm as a district sales manager and most recently, as a regional sales manager for Ontario.
“Butler will lead Phoenix Contact’s intensive efforts to further grow our leading market position in Ontario,” says Rick Denley, director of sales and marketing. “His commitment, previous successful performance and proven expertise, will empower our partners; he will enable us to emerge as the most preferred industrial connection, interface and automation supplier in the market.”
Phoenix Contact has also promoted Grant Barriage to the position of regional sales manager for Ontario. Barriage, who joined Phoenix Contact in 2008 as district application specialist, has extensive knowledge and experience with the firm’s product lines and will be a valuable asset in the implementation of ongoing sales and marketing strategies.
“Having successful technical sales experience and a solid understanding of the industries in Ontario, combined with a customer focused attitude, will be a great asset to Grant as he leads the Phoenix Ontario sales team. We have confidence that he will continue to make a positive impact on our organization,” says Rick Denley, director of sales and marketing.
