Why products fail RoHS compliance: Claigan webinar

Ottawa-based provider of compliance and testing solutions for RoHS, REACH SVHC, conflict minerals, Claigan Environmental Inc. will present a webinar on why products fail for RoHS compliance, to be held on 15 January 2014.

Claigan conducts regular testing of products for RoHS compliance and has seen the majority of products fail when tested for RoHS compliance. These failing products were designed to be RoHS compliant and had supplier declarations of compliance, but still failed in the lab. The webinar will focus on the causes of product compliance failures, high risk materials, design errors, supplier errors, manufacturer errors, purchasing errors, and the weaknesses in supplier declarations.

The material presented in this webinar will leverage data from hundreds of tested products and tens of thousands of measurements. The webinar will present an advanced technical discussion on RoHS compliance failures and is not intended to provide a general overview of RoHS Recast.
