North American distributor of interconnect, power and electromechanical components Sager Electronics has expanded its Molex offering with the addition of the firm’s GWconnect product line.
Molex, one of the world’s largest global manufacturers of interconnect solutions, recently acquired GWconnect and its heavy duty connectors and accessories. Designed for harsh industrial applications where connections re required for power, the GWconnect multipole connectors are suitable for use with high voltage ac and dc systems.
Principally comprised of die-cast aluminum alloy or a self-extinguishing thermoplastic, these connectors are UL94 compliant. A variety of connection options are available and plating materials include silver, gold and tinned plating. Enclosures are suitable for standard, harsh and EMC environments.
