Gap Wireless to distribute LCR Research mobile component testing

Gap Wireless Inc., Mississauga ON, a leading Canadian distributor of products and services for the mobile broadband and test & measurement markets, announced it is now offering an advanced LCR component testing meter with unique mechanical and electronic design from Toronto-based LCR Research.

“The LCR Elite1 product is an efficient, convenient and accurate LCR meter for use in testing components in electronic circuits, and we’re pleased to add this product to our extensive selection of Test and Measurement tools,” says Marc Bouvrette, president, Gap Wireless.

A portable LCR meter with unique mechanical and electronic design, the LCR Elite1 integrates a pair of tweezer-like probes and a digital multimeter into a compact, lightweight, battery-powered device. The Elite1 offers unique features of:

• Precise gold-plated tips for L, C, R measurement

• One-hand operation to enable picking up SMD component with ease

• Automatic or manual component identification

• Automatic or manual testing frequency selection

• Automatic or manual parallel or series circuit.

The product is powered by an internal, lithium-ion polymer rechargeable battery that can be charged by a computer or a USB power adapter. The device is a Canadian innovation from end-to-end, with design, engineering, manufacturing and marketing in Canada.
